Credit Where Credit is Due
I must give credit to all those artists who have helped me in putting this website together. I credit Tiffany Clarke of Metropolitan Concepts for the initial website design, Marcia Fingal for editing the copy on this site and Douglas Pierce for his professional skills in photo-shop, template design and help in edit my photographs.
Mr. Pierce also photographed and edited the initial website presentation of our exhibition at The Wilmer Jennings Gallery, Saving Grace: Families Rebuilding Their Lives after Hurricane Katrina, and Hurricane Katrina: Life after The Storm, by documentary filmmaker, Marcia Fingal. Final cut editing was done by Christopher Frieson of Harlem Live.
The powerful acappella music for Hurricane Katrina was made possible by Dr. Bernice Johnson Reagon founder of the spiritual group, Sweet Honey in the Rock. The soul wrenching music for Saving Grace was sung by Marlena Smalls and the Hallelujah Singers from her compact disc, Gullah: Songs of Hope, Faith and Freedom.
Recognition must also be given to Gideon Manasseh for conducting and filming the Hurricane Katrina interview, Conversations with Howard T. Cash and Marcia Fingal, at the Wilmer Jennings Gallery in New York City. Sign language interpreter on that interview (was inspired by my daughters Frances and Safiya Cash, who are both sign language students) was done by ceramic artist, Ingrid Edomdson, better known as Ramani. George Lamboy put the final editing touches on the project.
My resume credits were organized by Linda Nourse and marketing and legal consultation was provided by Stephen Thompson of Modern Vida Worldwide. Thanks to Molly Greg for help in creating our corporate brand and identity. Christian Linsey of Matheson Press put together the final product. I sincerely thank all these fine artists, consultants and administrators whose wonderful talents are providing my work professional self-expression.
